Hey folks! I'm looking for some upgrade suggestions for my current gaming setup here in Italy. My budget is between €300 and €400, but I could stretch it up to €500 if the upgrade really benefits my gaming experience.
Here are my specs:
- Ryzen 5 3600X
- Radeon RX 7700 XT
- 32 GB RAM DDR4 3600Mhz
- 1 TB NVMe M2 SSD
- ASUS TUF GAMING B450M-PLUS II (AM4)
I game at 1440p with a 144Hz refresh rate. What do you recommend for a performance boost? Should I focus on upgrading the CPU, or perhaps the motherboard along with the CPU? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you're willing to switch to Intel, you could consider the Intel Core i5-14600K for about €229. This combined with a compatible motherboard could fit into your budget nicely. Just ensure you check compatibility with your RAM and other components.
But why switch to Intel? You already have an AM4 setup. Just focus on upgrading your CPU or consider going to AM5 for a better path forward.
