I'm completely new to coding and honestly have no idea where to begin. I'm really interested in game development and want to learn how to create something fun in my spare time. What are some good starting points or resources to help me get into it?

You should definitely check out the FAQ; it has a bunch of great resources that can get you started. It's a good idea to start with beginner-friendly materials.
If you're serious about game dev, I recommend starting with Godot or Unity using C#. If you're feeling adventurous and want to dive deeper, learning C++ is a great option too. It's a bit harder but can open doors to jobs at game development or AI companies!
Thank you!
For game development, YouTube has some awesome tutorials. I found a couple of videos that explain how to get started with game development really well.
