I'm trying to figure out how to connect my PC, which is on the far end of my house, to my modem/router that's on the opposite side. My PC doesn't have WiFi capabilities, so I'm looking for some solid options to get an Ethernet connection. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Just run an Ethernet cable from your router directly to your PC if it's feasible. It's the simplest solution! But if that's not possible, check out alternatives like powerline adapters. They use your home's electrical wiring to extend your network. Just plug one into a socket near the router and another one near your PC.
