Hey everyone! I'm hoping to get some advice about boosting the wifi signal in my garage. I'm planning on hosting a Super Bowl party there, and while I have a smart TV set up, the signal from my house gets really spotty. It's about 75 feet from the house and nearly 95 feet from the router, and since I can't move the router any closer, I'm trying to figure out a good solution. My ISP said they can run a new line but not until spring, and I need something reliable for the party. Any suggestions on devices or methods to improve the signal?

A wifi-capable powerline adapter could be a quick fix! Just keep in mind that your speeds will depend on the quality of your electrical wiring. It's worth looking into if you need something reliable right away.
You could also just lay a temporary ethernet cable above ground from the house to the garage for the party. It's a straightforward solution and should give you solid connectivity!
Consider getting a wireless access point and running a long cable to it from your router. Most access points are easy to set up, and you could just run the Ethernet cable temporarily through a door for the Super Bowl.
A wifi repeater might be your best bet! Look for one with big antennas; they typically connect to your existing home wifi and extend the signal to your garage, plus they’re pretty cheap and easy to set up. Definitely a good option!
If you're looking for a more permanent solution, something like a Linksys mesh system or a Netgear EX6250 could really help with coverage. I've been in a similar situation, and these setups work great!
