Hey everyone, I have this hour-long performance video on my iPhone 15 Pro that's about 40 GB in size. I'm trying to share it with some friends, but I'm hitting a wall—AirDrop isn't working, I can't upload it to Google Drive, and creating an iCloud link doesn't seem to be happening either. I also have a M1 MacBook Air, but the video isn't synced with it. Any suggestions on how I can share this video? Thanks a ton!

Wow, 40 GB is definitely a hefty file! Unfortunately, Mail Drop can't handle files over 5 GB. One option could be importing the video into iMovie and then exporting it at a lower resolution. This might shrink the file size a lot! Also, if you're okay with it being public, uploading to YouTube with a verified account is a solid choice since it accepts longer videos and files up to 256 GB!
Have you tried just uploading it to YouTube directly? It’s usually pretty straightforward, but if it’s giving you errors, that’s frustrating. Could be the file format or something; maybe check that first.
I tried uploading it to YouTube, but I keep getting an error, which is a bummer!
How exactly do I export to a lower resolution in iMovie? Reducing the resolution sounds good since it’s currently at 4K 60fps. Thanks!
