Best Web Design Software for Beginners Who Want Code and Design Views?

I'm looking for a good web design program that caters to beginners but allows for both code and design views. I've seen a lot of people criticize Dreamweaver, but it continues to hold a spot as one of the top web design applications. I have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus some experience with Flash.

I want something simple where I can either use a pre-made template or easily start from scratch with HTML, similar to what Dreamweaver offers. I'm not interested in programs that focus solely on design unless they allow for significant customization like adjusting table sizes.

I'm creating a basic site that's not monetized, and I'm considering hosting it on either Webador or Hubspot's free service. I'm also thinking about Hostinger in the future. Although I'm quite familiar with WordPress, I prefer not to use it for this particular project.

I really enjoy hosting my sites on Vercel since it's completely free. Plus, they make it easy to connect third-party domains if you have one. Great option to consider!

You should check out bubble.io. It has a lot of visual design features and is quite beginner-friendly.

Back in the day, I loved using Front Page 97. It had its quirks, but it was a timeless classic for web design.

If you plan to do your own coding, I recommend using Visual Studio Code. It's lightweight and powerful! Just use your browser for design previews, and the developer tools are incredibly helpful for testing and debugging your site.

Yeah, this sounds like the way to go since I already know the basics. Thanks!

+1 for that! The developer tools are your best friend while building websites.
