Hey everyone! I'm in charge of getting some new laptops for our team and I've received a few options from one of our suppliers. We need Windows Pro laptops with at least 1TB storage and the capacity to handle heavy usage for over 10 hours a day. The requirements include a maximum size of 15.6 inches, decent battery life, a minimum Full HD screen, and good ports like HDMI and USB-C. We prefer HP or Dell brands. The options I have are:

1. Dell XPS 13 9350: 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 13.4 inches, slight over budget at £1800 with a 3-year warranty.
2. HP ProBook 440 G11: 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX2050, 14-inch FHD display, 1-year warranty, priced at £1260.
3. Dell Latitude 5450: 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX2050, 14-inch FHD display, 3-year warranty for £1400.

What do you all think? Are there any bad options here or recommendations on the best choice?

If your budget allows, I really think the Dell XPS is the way to go. It’s the top pick among Windows laptops if that’s what you're after.

I would choose the Dell XPS in a heartbeat! Their business support is great, which is a huge plus for a work environment.

Honestly, I’d steer clear of Dell, HP, Acer, and Lenovo. Their laptops often have heat and fan issues, leading to more maintenance headaches in the long run. From my experience, it’s worth investing in a quality brand like Asus or a Mac if you want something reliable that won’t need replacing in just a few years. Spending a little more now can save you money down the road.

I have to disagree with you there. The Dell XPS is one of the best-built Windows laptops I’ve come across.

I appreciate the feedback! But I’ve used Dell laptops before and had a pretty good experience. What do you think about the Dell XPS specifically?
