I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Bluetooth headphones on my Windows 11 laptop. They connect just fine, but no sound is coming through them; instead, everything plays through the laptop's speakers. I've noticed that while my headphones are indicated as connected, there's no audio or mic feedback shown next to them. Even when I play videos, the sound still comes out of the laptop speakers, even though I can control playback using the headphone buttons. I've tried reinstalling drivers and a few troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to work. The headphones work perfectly with my phone, so I think it's a problem specific to my laptop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This is actually a common issue on Windows, and there's a pretty simple fix. Just click on the volume icon in the taskbar and check if your Bluetooth headphones are listed there. If they are, look for a small arrow next to the speaker volume options; that should allow you to select your sound output. Make sure to choose your headphones from the list of devices.
Have you checked if your headphones are listed under Settings > Bluetooth & Devices? Sometimes, simply removing the device and reconnecting can do the trick. You might also want to update your Bluetooth drivers from your motherboard's website if that doesn't help. I know Bluetooth can be a pain sometimes!
Yeah, I had to go through the same process! I ended up installing the Bluetooth driver from scratch, and that finally got it working for me.

It worked! Thanks for the tip! I had to reinstall my Bluetooth driver and update it manually, but it finally started working.
