Blurry Taskbar Icons on Secondary Monitor in Windows 11

I encountered a strange issue while using Windows 11 24H2. When I tried to open a WordPad document, I got a "This app can't run on your PC" error, but I reinstalled WordPad and that's not really my main concern now. The real issue is that the icons pinned to the taskbar on my secondary monitor appear blurry and fuzzy, while they look tiny on my main monitor. I'd love some insights on what might be causing this. By the way, shortly after I posted, the problem fixed itself, but I'm curious about what might have been wrong in the first place.

It sounds like you might be dealing with some DPI scaling issues. Windows 11 can sometimes mess with how icons are displayed across multiple monitors, especially if they have different resolutions. Make sure to check your DPI settings in the display settings, and ensure both monitors are set to their correct resolutions. Oh, and just a heads up, WordPad might not be fully supported in Windows 11, so you might want to consider using Notepad or another text editor instead.

It’s good to hear the issue fixed itself! It could be a temporary glitch, but if you see the blur again, try changing the scaling settings for your secondary monitor in the Display settings. Sometimes, displays connected through different ports (like HDMI and DisplayPort) can behave oddly, especially regarding refresh rates. Keep an eye on your resolutions too; occasionally rechecking them can clarify things.
