BSOD Issues After Switching WiFi Providers – Need Help!

I recently switched my WiFi provider and got a new router. Ever since, my laptop has been acting up. It freezes and then goes to a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) repeatedly. I took it to a repair shop where they said the disk needed replacing, which I did, and things seemed fine until today. I turned off the router and when I turned it back on and reconnected my laptop, it froze, showed a BSOD, rebooted, and did it again before it finally worked. Is this problem related to connecting to the new WiFi? How can I fix it?

To get a better understanding of what's causing the BSOD, check for dump files on your laptop. If you can boot into Windows normally or via Safe Mode, navigate to C:WindowsMinidump. If you find any dump files, copy that folder to your desktop, zip it up, and upload it to a file sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. Having multiple dump files is helpful for diagnosing the issue. Follow a guide to set up your system to create Small Memory Dumps if you're only getting one.

It sounds like it might be bad RAM if you're having these issues. Even though you got extra RAM recently, sometimes new parts can still be faulty. Another thing to consider is ensuring all your drivers are up-to-date, especially the ones from your laptop's manufacturer. Running third-party driver updaters isn't recommended as they can cause more problems than they solve.

I just had the disk changed and added 8GB of RAM, so I’m kind of unsure if that’s the culprit.
