BSOD When Opening Attachments with Chinese Characters on Windows 11 24H2

Hey everyone, I'm having a bizarre issue with Windows 11 24H2. A user received an email with an attachment that has a filename in Chinese characters, and every time they try to open or save it, their system crashes to a BSOD and restarts. This isn't the first time something like this has happened either; previously, the Sync Center caused a BSOD when I deployed Windows 11, but disabling it fixed that. I'm at a loss here and could really use some help figuring this one out. Thanks!

As a general rule, opening attachments from unexpected emails can be risky, whether the filename is in Chinese characters or not. Best to stay cautious!

It's actually an internal email between coworkers, so the attachments should be safe. Plus, I tried creating a Word document with a Chinese name, and that caused a BSOD too, though not every time.

Is the attachment something the user was expecting? If it's not, it could potentially be malware. To figure this out, it would really help to know the specific BSOD error they're seeing. Generally, it shouldn't crash just because of a missing language pack.

Yeah, I created a blank Word file with Chinese characters, and it did trigger a BSOD right away. But after restarting, I could create it again without a crash. I even tried safe mode in Outlook with the same attachment, and that didn't cause any issues.
