Can Anyone Help Me Build a Great Gaming PC on a Budget of £800?

I'm just starting out with choosing PC parts and I'm looking for some guidance on building a solid system for around £800. My main goal is to game at 1440p, aiming for 60+ FPS, and even explore 4K gaming if it's achievable within my budget. I'm mainly interested in playing titles like Call of Duty and GTA, and I want to make sure I can maintain stable performance on ultra settings. I don't plan on doing any virtualization or mining with this setup, and I'd like to have a build that won't require me to upgrade for at least three years while still meeting my gaming needs. I know it might be a tall order, but I'm hoping to get as close as possible to this ideal setup!

Honestly, what you're aiming for is really tough. It's hard to keep a system running 1440p ultra at 60 FPS for £800, especially over a five-year span. However, I think a solid combo would be a 7500F and a 9060XT 16GB. You might find the CPU super cheap on AliExpress right now! Here's a link to the build I found: [PCPartPicker Build](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/trBMYd).

Do you need a monitor or any accessories included? I found a build for about £820 that should handle 1440p pretty well. Going 4K might be pushing it unless you use FSR 4.0 for some performance boost. This setup will easily run games like GTA and with decent settings, you'll be good for most new titles at high settings. If you want to future-proof it a bit more, consider upgrading the CPU to the 7600X3D, which is about £100 more, as it provides a significant boost in gaming. For an extra £150, you could grab a 9070 that would perform great at 1440p and do okay at 4K too.

I’d recommend spending just a little more on the 9600X as well; the 50xx Nvidia series has had a lot of driver issues lately. Definitely something to keep in mind.

I found a decent deal on a lower-cost GPU option, the Intel Arc B580. It might let you stay under budget while still allowing for good performance at 1440p on medium to high settings. Plus, it could give you some room in your budget for a monitor if you need one!

Thanks for the advice! I figured I could stretch my budget to £1,000. How would that change my options?
