I'm looking to add some extra USB ports by using the 5.25" drive bay on my computer. Is it possible to connect these additional ports to my ASUS Prime H510M-A motherboard? Any guidance would be appreciated!

If you find out that you have those headers, yes, they can definitely be used! You might have to give up some rear USB ports, though, to make it work if you're adding a dedicated front USB hub or something like that. But it's a solid way to expand your connectivity!
You'll need to check what USB headers are on your motherboard. The ASUS Prime H510M-A typically has 2x USB 2.0 headers and 1x USB 3.0 header available, which should work for adding more ports. Just make sure the USB device you want to install is compatible with these headers!
