Hey everyone! I've set up my NAS with Windows 10, and I'm familiar with TrueNAS, but I'm limited because I can't connect a LAN cable. I've managed to share a folder over the network, and it works fine. My question is, can I make my NAS go into sleep mode as soon as my PC does, and wake it up when my PC wakes back up? I know about Wake-on-LAN, but that doesn't apply here. Any help would be awesome!

You can definitely set it up so that your NAS goes to sleep via scripts triggered by your PC going to sleep. However, waking it without Wake-on-LAN is tricky. Consider setting auto-sleep timers on your NAS and wake it up manually or use scheduled wake-up times through the BIOS.
Why do you need your NAS to turn on and off like that? You might find it easier to use a smart plug for both your PC and NAS, allowing you to control their power at the same time.
