Can I Build a PC and Get a Monitor for $800?

I'm thinking about building a PC, but I'm not sure if I can manage it within an $800 budget, especially with current prices. I need a machine for gaming and some projects, but I also want to buy a monitor with that budget. Is that feasible? If not, I suppose I can hold off for a bit.

It really depends on what you're hoping to do with it. You mentioned gaming and projects, but what resolution are you aiming for? $800 is a tight budget for both a PC and a monitor right now, especially with RAM prices being high. For gaming, you'll need something decent, especially if you're looking at games like Red Dead 2.

Building a PC right now might not be the best option unless you find a solid used motherboard and RAM combo. You might also want to consider getting something that's already built and then upgrading it later. It can save you some hassle and might fit your budget better.

Got it! So, should I check sites like Facebook Marketplace for deals?

Honestly, I’d recommend looking for used parts. It can save you a lot of money and you might find some great deals.
