I just bought an MSI MAG A650BN 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply, but the power cord that came with it isn't long enough for my setup. It's about 1.5 meters, and I need something closer to 2.5 meters. Can I buy a longer power cord for it? If so, what should I look for?

While you can buy a longer power cord, another option is to use an extension cord. It might be a more straightforward solution without needing to worry about compatibility. Just make sure that the extension is rated for the power your PSU provides!

So, are all extension cords compatible with power supplies? I wanna make sure I get the right one!

Yes, you can absolutely buy a longer power cord! Most power supply cords are standardized with a three-pin IEC C13 connector, which is commonly referred to as a kettle lead in some places like the UK. You should be able to find longer ones online or at electronics stores quite easily. Just make sure you get the right type, and you should be good to go!
