Can I buy two GPUs from Amazon, test them out, and return one?

I'm trying to decide whether to go with the 5070ti or if the 5060ti / 9060xt 16GB would be sufficient for my needs. I'm considering purchasing both GPUs, opening the boxes to test them out (without using frame counters), and seeing if I can notice a difference in performance. If one doesn't meet my expectations, can I return it? Thanks for any advice!

Just make sure to buy items sold and shipped by Amazon. Returns for third-party sellers can be tricky, and they might not allow opened returns easily.

Exactly! It's better to ensure you're protected by sticking to items that meet Amazon's return guidelines.

I'd be cautious with big purchases on Amazon; I once got a brick instead of a GPU and support wasn't great about helping me out. Spend wisely!

While you could buy and return, it's a bit like wearing an outfit and then returning it. There's tons of reviews and benchmarks available, so I'd suggest researching before you purchase. It might save you the trouble!

Keep in mind that if you return too much stuff, it could flag your account. But returning one GPU should be fine; just don’t make it a habit!

Definitely check out Amazon's return policies to avoid restocking fees. And remember, while you can do this, it's also good to look at benchmarks and reviews to guide your decision.

Yeah, before going through all that hassle, do some research on the performance differences!

Absolutely, as long as you return it within 30 days, you should be good to go! Just make sure to keep everything, including the packaging, in good condition. I've even returned a GPU three months after the usual return period by reaching out to customer support, so there's some flexibility there.

Good to know! Just a heads up, some customer reps might not be as accommodating, so it can vary.
