I'm a college student and not very experienced with programming or AWS. I heard that new users can get up to $200 in free credits when they create their first AWS account. I'm wondering if it's possible to create multiple accounts to keep getting these free credits, similar to what I've seen with other cloud services. Is that allowed? What are the risks involved?

Technically, you could create multiple accounts to get free credits, but it's against AWS's terms of service. If they find out, they might flag or ban your accounts. So, while it might work for a bit, it's risky! Better to explore other options that fit your budget.
I doubt you'll be able to use the same credit card over and over again. They probably track that, so you'd need new payment info each time you register. Just a heads-up!
If you're looking for cheaper alternatives, you might want to consider paying for something like Claude instead of risking your AWS account. Bedrock can get pretty expensive.
I've heard it's getting harder to do that now. A friend of mine got a warning after creating multiple accounts. AWS is tightening up on this kind of stuff, so you might want to think twice before trying it.
