I have a 2015 MacBook Pro that's synced with my iCloud, but when I try to enable Advanced Data Protection (ADP), it says I need to remove my older laptop. This is really frustrating because I have everything synchronized with my Mac mini and other devices. Since my MacBook is older, I can't use ADP? Is there any workaround available?

You actually need to have all your devices updated for ADP to work. The requirements include having iOS and macOS versions that are recent enough—specifically, your Mac needs to be running at least macOS 13.1. Since your MacBook Pro is too old to update, you won't be able to enable ADP until you have compatible devices.
Yep, that's correct! Unfortunately, ADP won't activate unless every device linked to your Apple account meets the compatibility requirements. It's a bummer because if your laptop is still running well, it seems silly to replace it just for this feature.
