How Can I Get More AWS Credits for My Startup?

I'm currently running a startup that's in the early stages, and I really need some advice on obtaining more AWS credits. Initially, I received $1,000 in startup credits and later got an additional $10,000 by taking part in an AWS event. Last year, thanks to an investment from Accelerating Asia, we got a code for $25,000 in credits, but I only received $15,000 when I used it. Now, I have just $2,000 left and I'm looking for suggestions on how to secure more credits for the next phase of growth. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

It's impressive you've utilized so many credits, but I'm curious about your startup's revenue model. What are you working on? That might give some insight into why you're burning through credits so quickly.

Have you been actively tracking and optimizing your AWS burn rate? It’s essential to keep an eye on spending and see if you have areas where costs can be reduced. For example, check if your team is using resources efficiently or if there's a large amount of unused capacity.

To get more AWS credits, you might first want to focus on funding or generating revenue. It sounds like you've used a significant amount of credits. Are you in a position to show something concrete to potential investors? That could open doors to more support.

Are you technical enough to analyze your monthly bill and services? If your credits are depleting quickly, it might be time to reconsider your resource allocation and find ways to optimize costs. Just a heads up, some might criticize relying on free credits for your business model.

It's important to assess your resource usage. If your development team is running high-powered servers but only using a fraction of their capacity, that could lead to unnecessary expenses. Scaling down where you can might help stretch your budget.
