Can I Install Linux Mint Without Wiping My Other Partitions?

I just created a new partition on my hard drive with about 94GB of space after freeing up some disk space. If I use that partition to install Linux Mint, will it only erase data from that partition, or does it affect my other partitions that contain different data?

Yes, if you choose the new partition to install Linux Mint, it should only wipe that specific partition. Your other partitions will remain untouched as long as you select the right one during installation! Just be cautious and double-check what you're formatting.

That's good to know! Just to clarify, there’s no OS on that partition, right? It’s just data? That should make things easier.
