Hey everyone! My computer just broke down, and I don't have a functioning OS available on any machine. I found an old computer at home that doesn't have an operating system on it. Is there a way to install Linux on it using only my phone? Apologies for my English!

If your phone has OTG support, you can burn the Linux ISO to a USB drive directly. There are apps out there like Rufus or similar ones for Android that can help with this. I've not tried it myself, but it sounds like a viable option!
Check out a tool called Etchdroid. It's pretty user-friendly. Just download and install it on your phone, grab a Linux distro, connect a USB drive, and use Etchdroid to write the image. After that, plug the drive into your PC and boot from it. Super straightforward!
It's not exactly straightforward for every setup. If your computer uses EFI, your phone needs to support USB mass storage mode, which can be tricky. For older BIOS setups, you'd need your phone to export the whole raw device, like an SD card. Booting over the network could be an option, but that requires some tech know-how and specific setups that might not be easy to implement.
You can totally do this! Start by getting a USB-C to USB-A dual port pendrive. Connect it to your phone, and then download an OS flashing tool. Flash the Linux image onto the drive, switch the port and you're ready to install it on your PC! Really simple, just follow the steps and you’ll be good to go!
