Can I Land an Internship by September or October Without a Degree?

I'm a 22-year-old who's just three months into programming. I started learning front-end development through a Coursera course covering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I'm also practicing on freeCodeCamp. It's crucial for me to secure any remote job by September or October. I'm wondering if building simple projects like a calculator or a weather app is enough to get hired, especially since I don't have a computer science degree. My ultimate goal is to work in AI/ML, but for now, I'm focused on landing an internship to kickstart my career. Is it realistic to get an internship by then?

Honestly, landing an internship by September is going to be really tough. Companies typically look for students, and a lot of positions were filled months ago. Interns can be more of a burden for teams, so if you’re new to programming and don’t have a degree, your chances are slim for this go-around.

Yeah, I understand that. I guess I need to upskill and maybe focus on getting a degree.
