I'm looking to upgrade my PC's RAM. Right now, I have one 8GB stick running at 2133 MHz, and I'm considering adding another 8GB stick that operates at 2400 MHz. Will this combination work, or should I be worried about compatibility issues?

If the 2400 MT/s stick has a 2133 MT/s JEDEC profile, then it should work just fine—everything will run at 2133 MT/s. So, you should be good to go with your upgrade.
Yep, it’ll work! Just keep in mind that both sticks will operate at the lowest speed, which is 2133 MT/s in this case.
Mixing RAM can be risky. There's a chance it could lead to boot failures. It's typically better to match sticks, but the system should still boot with different speeds as long as you use the base JEDEC speed.
Sure, you can mix them! But everything will run at 2133 MT/s since that's the lowest speed available. Just be cautious with timing and voltage settings.

You can definitely mix different sticks! They should work at the base speed, but if you try to run higher speeds with XMP, that's when you'll run into trouble.
