I recently installed Linux Mint using a DVD, but I'm considering switching to Arch. If I decide I want to go back to Mint later, can I just use the same DVD again? Is there a reason I might not be able to? Thanks for the help!

It's worth noting that optical discs are typically ROM (Read Only Memory) unless you have a rewritable one. Generally, you can burn the ISO to the DVD once and reinstall as often as you like.
If you're worried about the disc wearing out or have concerns, it's always a good idea to keep the ISO on a USB as a backup. It makes reinstalling easier if the DVD doesn't work out for some reason!
Yes, you can definitely reuse the DVD! CDs and DVDs are designed to be read multiple times, so there's no issue there unless the disc gets physically damaged. Curious why you thought it might not work?
You can use a DVD infinitely, as long as it remains intact. Just keep in mind that if you wait too long to reinstall Mint, you might need to run a lot of updates since some distros don't support upgrading through multiple versions. So just be cautious!
