I'm building a PC and I want to make sure my RAM works well with my setup. I'm using a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor paired with a Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX motherboard. I have the G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6400 (model F5-6400J3239G16GA2-TZ5RK). My goal is to run the RAM at 6000 MT/s since it only has XMP and no EXPO profile. Has anyone managed to achieve stable performance at 6000 MT/s with this combination? Do I need to manually adjust timings or voltage? Any advice on maintaining FCLK 1:1 for maximum stability would be appreciated!

I've seen a lot of folks using that motherboard, and many have had success with your RAM. I'd recommend checking out forums and communities like PCPartPicker for firsthand experiences. I found one build using similar components there—might be worth reaching out to that user if they don't respond soon!

I found that same build! I sent them a message, too—hopefully, they get back to us.

What are the CAS latency (CL) specifications? If it's CL 32, you're in a good spot theoretically—you should be able to run it at 6000 MT/s without issues!

I think it's CL 32 as well. Should be good to go!

I actually have the 6000 MHz version of that RAM on an Aorus Elite AX V2 B650, and it ran perfectly on the XMP profile at 6000 MHz. Your setup should work similarly, as long as the RAM is on the compatibility list for your motherboard. Definitely worth checking!

I checked the G.Skill site, and it wasn't listed there. But I think it might still work since it's essentially made for Intel and should fit in AMD systems. Just set it to 6000 MHz manually if needed.
