I'm planning to build a new PC and I'm considering using only Linux. I'm really new to all this and still trying to grasp what a lot of terms mean. I've tested a couple of distros using DISTROsea, but I'm curious if it's possible to run multiple distros simultaneously and if they can save your work. Can I switch between them easily? What's it like for a typical user who might be involved in activities like creating content, streaming, or running an online business? I know that Bazzite is popular for gaming, which I do quite a bit, but I also want something suitable for everyday use. I'm not looking for recommendations like Linux Mint just because I'm moving from Windows; I'm open to learning new things, even though I'm not a coder.

You can definitely run multiple Linux distros, but if you want to switch back and forth, dual booting is a common method. Just keep in mind that you'll need to reboot each time you want to switch. Alternatively, you can create separate user accounts within one distro, giving you flexibility without restarting all the time. About distros like Mint, they’re actually quite user-friendly and great for beginners! It’s not unusual that they’re recommended, so don’t disregard them just yet! As for your daily activities, most distros can handle gaming and other tasks just fine—even if they're not marketed that way!

I agree with what you're saying! I've been using a mix of Ubuntu and Fedora for various tasks, and I've found both can support my gaming and daily use well. It really comes down to what you need from your setup!
