I'm a civil engineering student with a couple of years' experience on Ubuntu and a year on Fedora. I need to use software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and ETABS for my studies. Additionally, I like to play Valorant, but I'm struggling because Linux has limitations for gaming. I tried using Wine to run Windows applications, but it's quite slow and resource-intensive. Can anyone recommend a Linux distribution that would work for my needs? Thanks in advance!

If you're really keen on Linux, you might want to check out distributions focused on gaming, but remember that many engineering software tools just aren’t available on Linux. If you try gaming on Linux, make sure to optimize your settings and keep your expectations in check. Dual-booting can also provide the best of both worlds.
Honestly, if you want to use all those engineering tools smoothly, dual-booting with Windows might be the best bet. No distro is going to magically solve your compatibility issues with those programs. If gaming is also a priority, staying on Windows might be your best option right now.
