I have a Lenovo Ideapad x131e, and it's running extremely slow. I just found out that it has a micro SD card slot on the back. My question is: Can I clone my hard drive to a micro SD card and run Windows from it? If so, would that be any faster than what I'm experiencing now?

Running Windows off a micro SD card would likely be slower, and the card would also have a shorter lifespan than an SSD. You'd be better off looking into alternatives rather than relying on the SD card.
It’s not impossible, but I wouldn't count on it being faster. Running Windows from there can be risky due to shorter lifespan issues. Your best bet might be to replace your HDD with an SSD. I know it’s a bummer if you're low on cash now, but it’s a solid investment!
Thanks for the suggestion! I really want to upgrade to an SSD but just can't swing the cost at the moment.
If you want to try this, I recommend using a bootable Linux ISO and creating a bootable SD card with a Persistence file. It'll let you save changes and add software like a thumb drive. It won't be the best experience—more like basic web surfing—but might be better than sluggish Windows. However, honestly, you might want to invest in an SSD instead; you can find a 120/128GB SSD for under $12. It won't give you a ton of space for games, but it'll be perfect for Windows and essential software.

Just so you know, the performance won't be great if you choose the SD route. It's better to stick with a better storage option.
