I've been looking into getting an RTX 3050 graphics card, specifically the 6GB version, which is said to only use around 70W. From what I understand, this means it could run just on my motherboard's PCIe 3.0 x16 slot without needing a separate PCIe cable. My worry is, though, that I'm using a generic power supply unit (PSU), and I've heard mixed opinions about their reliability when it comes to powering components. Some people say that it's generally fine to run a GPU like the RTX 3050 with a lower power draw, while others warn against using a generic PSU since it could fail and potentially damage other parts. I'm on a budget and can only afford the RTX 3050 and a new 1TB SSD right now. I really want to avoid dealing with a PSU replacement if I can help it. Is it safe to run the RTX 3050 on my generic 700W PSU? If not, can anyone recommend some reliable budget-friendly PSUs under 3,000 PHP (or about $50)? I've included a link to my current PSU setup for reference.

You should be alright! If your PSU is bad, it won’t matter much if the GPU is powered solely from the PCIe lanes or if it gets extra support from the PSU. But I’d be cautious; if your PSU fails, it's likely to take out your motherboard and other parts with it. By the way, do you know what brand or model your PSU is? Just calling it ‘generic’ doesn’t give us much to go off of!

Here's a pic of the PSU's sticker: [PSU Image](https://imgur.com/a/Jsh5b5H). What do you think?
