I'm currently dual booting with both Windows and Linux, and I have two external drives. I'm wondering if it's possible to format one of these drives to work specifically with Windows so that I can drag and drop recordings made in Linux onto it from the other drive. I think this could streamline my workflow, especially since I'm using DaVinci Resolve. Any thoughts on how to set this up?

I'm running a similar setup, and I share one drive between both OSes without any problems. Just use it for file transfer only; make sure the OS installations are on separate drives. My only challenge is getting OBS to record both audio and video correctly; sometimes it behaves oddly!
Using a common file system like exFAT is a smart move. I've used NTFS too, and it’s worked out great for me. Make sure to format it correctly, and you should be good to go!
You can totally do that! Just remember, you'll need some software to access your Linux drive from Windows if you ever need to check it out. That's usually the trickiest part.
What software would I need for that? Also, I assume I'd have to format one of the drives to EXT4, right?
Nah, you could actually use NTFS for your external drive, which works fine with both operating systems. I've got an NTFS drive that I access on Linux without any issues.

I have an external HDD formatted to NTFS, but for some reason, my Linux recordings aren't showing up in Windows. Any tips on that?
