I'm currently using an iPhone SE 3 running iOS 18.5 and I'm wondering if I can upgrade it to iOS 18.7.2. I've heard mixed things about moving to iOS 26, and I'm concerned about the issues people have been reporting with that version. I get that downgrading to iOS 17 isn't an option anymore since it's not signed anymore, but what are my options here?

If iOS 18.7.2 shows up in your Settings under General > Software Update, then yes, you can update to it from iOS 18.5. Just keep in mind that updating through Finder or Apple Devices will take you straight to the latest version, which is 26.1.
I haven't received the update notification yet. I found the phone on eBay, and it’s listed as running 18.5. I was worried that if I went for a sealed one, it might already be updated to 26, and I’d miss the chance to stay on 18.5.
iOS 18.7.2 is still signed for over-the-air updates, so you should definitely check for it in your Software Update settings. 18.5 has been causing some storage issues for a lot of users, so upgrading would be a good idea.
