I'm not too savvy with PC components, and I'm having trouble figuring out if my motherboard can handle an upgrade. Here are my specs: EVGA RTX 3050 8GB GPU, A320 Kllisre AM4 motherboard, Ryzen 5 2600 CPU (6C/12T), 16GB DDR4 RAM (2x8GB), 512GB Gen4 NVMe storage, and a 650W power supply. I'm thinking about upgrading to either a Ryzen 5700X or 5800X. The guy who built my PC said it 'should work' but advised me to get thermal paste. Also, will my current CPU cooler work with these new CPUs or do they require something special? I've tried my best to research this but I'm not the fastest at it. I'd really appreciate any help!

You should visit the motherboard's website to check the list of supported CPUs. Sometimes, you might just need to update the BIOS to make it compatible with the newer Ryzen chips.
Okay, thank you!
