I'm looking to upgrade my Acer Swift SF315-41, which has an AMD Ryzen 3 2200u processor and currently comes with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD (Micron 1100 MTFDDAV256TBN). I want to keep the existing 256 GB SSD and install an additional internal SSD. I've opened my laptop, and while I found that it's expandable, I'm not sure where I can fit the RAM and if I can add another SSD. Any thoughts?

It sounds like you're mixing up RAM and storage here. RAM (Random Access Memory) and SSD (Solid State Drive) serve different functions. Make sure you know what you're looking to upgrade; they are not the same thing!
From my research, it appears that the RAM in your model is soldered to the motherboard, making it non-upgradable. There should be only one M.2 slot available for storage. So, unfortunately, you won't be able to keep your existing drive while adding another one unless you replace it. Just check inside to confirm what you've got!
Before anything, have you taken a look inside your laptop to see what space you have? That’ll really help clarify what's possible. If you haven't already, check the area near the main components for expansion slots!
Yes, I opened it up but I couldn't find an additional spot. I’ll share an image I took.

I did open it, but I'm having trouble finding the open slot. Here's a picture.
