Hey everyone! I'm planning to take my PC to Hong Kong and I'm wondering if I can plug in my 750W Lian Li SP750 SFX PSU, which I bought in the UK, directly into a wall socket there. Do I need any adapters or anything special to make it work? Thanks for your help!

You'll be fine! The PSU supports an input voltage of 100 to 240V, and Hong Kong operates at around 220V. Plus, they use the same type of plug as the UK, so no adapters are needed. You're all set! Just plug it in and enjoy your gaming.

Oh nice! Just to clarify, should I be worried about any voltage spikes or fluctuations? What's the deal with that?

The only thing to keep in mind is the PSU's cable. While the PSU can handle the voltage, you'll need a power cable that fits Hong Kong's sockets. It's not just an adapter for lower power items! Check that your PSU can handle the range, but it likely will. Make sure it's set to the right voltage if there's a switch.

Got it, I heard HK still uses UK plugs, so that makes sense. Thanks for the tip!
