I'm looking for some advice about my setup. I have a TUF Gaming B550M-Plus WiFi motherboard, an AMD R7 5800X CPU, and 16GB of RAM running at 3600MHz. Currently, I have an RTX 2060 as my GPU, but I also got an RTX 3050 from a friend for free. I do image editing for work and play League of Legends. I noticed that the 3050 underperforms compared to my 2060, especially in gaming where I experience significant frame drops and lag. Since my motherboard has two PCIe slots, I'm curious if I can run both GPUs together. I know I'll need a bigger case to fit them, but I'd rather not sell the 3050 or build a new PC just to use it. Any thoughts?

Given that the 3060 has more VRAM capability than the 2060, unless the 2060 runs out of VRAM, it probably makes more sense to stick with it. The 3050 is more efficient in some areas, but overall in gaming, the 2060 should give you better performance.
You can't really use two different GPUs for a performance boost. You could try something like Lossless Scaling for gaming, but that's more of a niche application and not a full dual-GPU setup. It can be tricky to set up, though, and not all games support it.
Unfortunately, you can't run both in SLI since that's not supported with different models, and SLI itself is pretty much a thing of the past. The RTX 2060 is slightly more powerful than the 3050, so you'd likely just run into more problems instead of gains if you tried to use them together.
So, it sounds like I really should just pick one card to use, right?

What exactly is Lossless Scaling? Do I just put the 3050 in the second slot and call it good?
