Hey everyone! I'm looking at Crucial Pro Overclocking DDR5-6000 RAM, but I noticed the packaging says it requires an AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPU. I checked PCPartPicker and it didn't flag any compatibility issues, and most people I asked didn't seem worried either. This is my first time building a PC, so I'm a bit nervous. Is this RAM still compatible with my Ryzen 5 7500F?

From what I understand, the line about needing a 9000 series CPU is likely just to get the best performance from the RAM. But it should definitely work with your Ryzen 5 7500F, so don’t stress too much!
Your CPU can handle RAM speeds up to 6000MHz, so you shouldn’t face any issues using this RAM. There might be some hiccups with overclocking profiles, but I doubt it’ll be a big deal.
Both the 7000 and 9000 series use the same memory controller, so it's unlikely any RAM would only work with one of them. You should be good to go!
Can you share the specific model of RAM you’re considering? I’m pretty sure it’ll work fine with the 7500F. Just to confirm, here’s a link to the model: [Crucial DDR5-6000](https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr5/CP2K16G60C36U5B). It’s the same one I found from a local vendor in Switzerland here: [Galaxus Link](https://www.galaxus.ch/en/s1/product/crucial-pro-overclocking-2-x-16gb-6000-mhz-ddr5-ram-u-dimm-ram-42606323).
