I'm thinking about switching to Nobara on my laptop that has an Nvidia GPU and I've heard mixed things about Linux compatibility with Nvidia versus AMD cards. Does anyone have experience with this? Are there any issues I should be aware of? Thanks!

You can definitely run Linux with an Nvidia card! It all comes down to the age of your hardware, though. Newer Nvidia GPUs tend to work well with rolling release distros like Manjaro or Fedora, which have up-to-date drivers. If your laptop is on the older side, make sure to pick a distro that's recent enough to support your graphics card properly. Debian is a good example because it might not work with older releases if your hardware is newer.

Just a heads up, Fedora isn't technically a rolling release! But it does tend to stay updated with the latest drivers.
