I've had my Samsung EVO 860 SSD for about four or five years now, and I'm wondering if it will be compatible with my new motherboard, which is geared for DDR5 and has an LGA 1851 socket. Will it fit?

Is it a 2.5" SSD? If so, it should fit just fine.

Yes!

You should check if your new motherboard supports SATA connections, since that's the interface your EVO 860 SSD uses. Most motherboards do have these ports, so chances are good you'll be able to use it without any issues.

Yes, your new motherboard will definitely have the port for your SSD. You're good to go!
