I've been living in my new apartment for about five months, and the internet was working great until recently. Out of nowhere, it's slowed down significantly—it barely loads a simple Google search on any device! I noticed that the cupboard in the hallway was open, and I believe that's where the internet lines are. Could someone have accidentally messed with the cables? I always thought that if you have internet, you either have it or you don't, so this sudden slowness has me curious. I live in France, and just to add, my provider set everything up when we moved in.

Well, it’s possible that someone tampered with the cables, but any slight adjustment might just cut you off completely. I’d strongly suggest contacting your provider; they can send someone out to take a look. And yeah, attempting to fix them yourself might not be a good idea—legally speaking!
Sounds like you're in a tricky situation. Definitely get a technician to check your connection, just to be safe. They’ll know if anything's wrong with the cabling.
Yikes, that really sounds like a mess! I recommend having a professional revisit the setup completely. It’s probably best not to mess with it yourself, as you could accidentally make things worse or even break something.
Got it, I won’t touch it then. If it is just the TV cables, that wouldn't explain my internet being slow, so I’ll need to explore other issues. Thanks!
