Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading to a 5070 Ti and currently have a Be Quiet! 600W 80 Bronze power supply. I'm curious if anyone has successfully run a 5070 Ti with this PSU. Just for context, I also have an AMD 5800X3D processor and a QD OLED monitor. Since I'm on a tight budget, I won't be able to upgrade my PSU just yet. Any thoughts or experiences?

I'd suggest undervolting the GPU until you can get a better power supply. It might help reduce the power draw for now.

Yeah, definitely! I’ll look into how to do that. Thanks!

You might be okay for a few months if you undervolt the GPU to keep the power usage around 180-200 watts. Just keep an eye on the system stability.

Wow, that's good to know. Thanks!

It really depends on what else you're running in your system. A good PSU is recommended to avoid system crashes. You might run on the edge with your current setup, so upgrading to a higher wattage PSU later on would be wise.

Keep in mind that your power supply only has 2 PCIe cables and many 5070 Ti models need 3 connectors, so you'll have to pick a compatible one. It might limit your choices.

I see, I was planning to get the Gainward Phoenix.

Using an underpowered PSU can lead to shutdowns and may cause damage to your GPU. Nvidia usually suggests higher wattage PSUs to avoid these risks, so it’s better to play it safe if you want stable performance.
