Hey everyone! I'm currently using Fedora but I'm really curious about CachyOS. I enjoy exploring new operating systems and I'm keen on learning the basics of how Arch works. Eventually, I plan to get a laptop specifically to install Arch Linux without relying on any automated installer. By the way, I'm a gamer and I have a full AMD setup. Any advice?

A great way to dive into a new distro like CachyOS is to mess around with it in a virtual machine (VM). This way, you can experiment without the risk of messing up your main system. If you use VirtualBox, it’s user-friendly but can be a bit sluggish sometimes. QEMU is more complex but offers better performance since it runs the VM using the Linux kernel and even allows GPU passthrough for more demanding tasks. If you're not into VMs, dual booting is another option—just remember to back up your important files first!

You could also consider a persistent live USB if you want to try CachyOS without installation, just keep in mind it's not ideal for long-term use.
