I'm having trouble booting from a USB stick on my Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9 laptop. I've installed a Linux ISO on the USB using Ventoy, ensured that USB boot is enabled, and disabled secure boot, but the USB option just doesn't appear in the boot order in BIOS. My current operating system is Windows 11, and I'm really eager to switch to Linux. It's been a bit stressful trying to get this to work, so any help would be appreciated!

Check if there's an option regarding Legacy Boot in your BIOS settings. If there is, enable it and see if that helps with detecting the USB.
After turning on your laptop, keep pressing F12; this should bring up the boot menu and let you select a device to boot from. If that doesn't work, try holding down the Fn key while doing it. That might help!
Oh, that worked! 😀 But I'm not sure why it doesn't show up in the BIOS... Thanks a lot!
I have a new issue now! During the Linux installation, it gave me an error saying the download failed. I restarted my PC and now the USB option is missing from the F12 menu. I've tried reinstalling Ventoy and Linux Mint, but it's not showing up at all.

I looked around but couldn't find anything like that!
