I'm running into a pretty frustrating issue while trying to enable Secure Boot for gaming on my ASUS motherboard. Every time I switch my OS type to Windows UEFI mode, Windows attempts automatic repairs but fails and sends me back to the BIOS. I've followed all instructions to the letter for enabling Secure Boot, but nothing seems to work. I'm just looking for help to get this sorted out so I can play Battlefield without issues!

To properly reset Secure Boot, you can try this method: Enter BIOS and disable Secure Boot, then save and boot into Windows. After booting, restart and go back into BIOS to re-enable Secure Boot. This method has worked for many users, especially on Gigabyte boards.
You might need to reinstall Windows to fully enable UEFI and Secure Boot. That's usually the case when switching from Legacy to UEFI. It seems extreme, but it could be necessary for your setup.
Really? That seems a bit over the top just to play a game. Are you telling me that everyone else in the same boat had to reinstall Windows too?
First off, check your BIOS settings for 'Boot Mode' or 'Boot Priority' and make sure it’s set to Legacy/CSM mode instead of UEFI. You might also want to disable Secure Boot completely, save the changes, and then try booting up Windows again. This could help you get past the boot issue if Windows was initially installed in Legacy mode.
I see what you're saying, but my main goal is to enable Secure Boot since the game needs it. I can switch back to Legacy mode to use my PC, but I really want to get this working.
I'm on an ASUS motherboard, and I can only switch to UEFI mode to enable Secure Boot. It doesn't seem like there's an option for me to toggle it manually. I've switched back and forth so many times—I might just end up hiring someone to sort this out for me!
