I'm new to the Linux world and trying to figure out whether I should start with EndeavourOS or Ubuntu. I have some experience with Windows, especially using the terminal, navigating the BIOS, and modding games. My main uses for my computer include gaming, chatting on Discord, streaming, browsing the web, and doing some drawing in Paint.NET, along with coding occasionally. I'm planning to dual boot with Windows, but I'd like to get comfortable using Linux more often. I'd appreciate any recommendations based on your experiences, including other distros if you have any suggestions!

I agree that Ubuntu is the way to go for beginners. It's stable, has good community support, and everything is pretty straightforward. If you're looking for a more Windows-like experience, try Kubuntu. It features KDE Plasma, which may be easier to navigate if you're familiar with Windows.
If you're just starting out, I'd highly recommend going with Ubuntu. It's designed for newcomers and has a huge community for support. Plus, it works well right out of the box, making your transition from Windows simpler. Like many others, I started with it and found it very user-friendly!

Absolutely! I’ve tried a bunch of distros, and Ubuntu has been the easiest to use. You can always explore other distros later once you're comfortable.
