Concerned About My Power Supply Unit (PSU) – Is It Safe for My Setup?

I've put together a solid bundle for video editing with DaVinci Resolve, featuring a Ryzen 5 8400F CPU, MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12GB OC GPU, MSI B650M-P motherboard, 16GB of 5600MHz RAM, a 512GB NVMe SSD, and an Xigmatek Cubi M ARGB case with a X-Power 600W 80+ White PSU. It's a great deal, but I'm worried about the PSU. I've heard it might not handle the GPU's wattage spikes well. Has anyone had experience with this PSU? Can it safely power my components?

Honestly, that PSU isn't great. While your CPU and GPU might be on the lower end, the PSU could struggle under load, especially during those GPU wattage spikes. It might work for now, but I wouldn't trust it long-term.

So, is there a real risk of it damaging my rig? I live in an area with stable power, so I'm not too worried about outages.

Wait, are we calling the GPU and CPU low-end? I thought they were decent specs!

I recommend swapping it out. This PSU doesn't specify overcurrent protection (OCP), which is essential for preventing potential issues with your components. Better safe than sorry!
