Hey everyone! I'm trying to perform a test boot on my system, but I'm a bit confused about the cabling. I have a few cables left over: a 4-pin CPU cable, a 12V cable with 12 pins, and a PCIe cable that splits into two 6-pin connectors with a 2-pin connector. So far, I've connected my GPU using both 'CPU and PCIe' cables and one single CPU cable to the motherboard's ATX_12V—at least, I assume that's for the CPU. I also connected the motherboard using the ATX 24-pin connectors. I'm working with an AM5 Asus Prime B650 motherboard. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think your GPU needs a 12-pin connection. You've mentioned you used a dongle to combine two 6+2 pin connectors into one 12 pin, which should work. Just make sure all your connections are secure. Has the PC booted up yet?
It sounds like you've done most of the heavy lifting already! For your CPU, you typically only need one 8-pin connector. Just check your GPU requirements as well to make sure everything is powered correctly. What does your GPU need in terms of power connections?
