I'm in the process of upgrading my PC and could really use some advice! Right now, I have a 5070 Ti, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and an i5 12400F. My current motherboard is a Prime B650-Plus Gaming WIFI, and I'm using KLEVV Cras V RGB 32GB (2x16) at 6000 MHz. I'm planning to switch to 2K gaming and need to choose a new CPU and GPU. In my area, the prices are as follows: 9070 XT for $800, 5070 Ti for $1020, 9700X for $315, and 7800X3D for $360. I was leaning towards the 9700X because it seems more efficient and offers similar performance with some overclocking. I'm confused about the $220 price difference between the GPUs—specifically, whether the RTX and DLSS features of the 5070 Ti justify the extra cost. Should I go for the 9700X with the 9070 XT or stick with the 5070 Ti? What would you recommend?

Honestly, the RX 9070 XT's ray tracing is pretty solid and comparable to the RTX 4000 series. I think a 9700X paired with the 9070 XT is a fantastic choice for that price point. Plus, features like FSR 3.1 are improving a lot and can give you great performance. Just keep in mind that while 5070 Ti does have better ray tracing capabilities, it's a bit more expensive for only a small gain in performance.

I've heard some reports about the 9070 XT having freezing issues and driver problems. Have you looked into those? It might be worth considering before making a final decision.
