I recently downloaded and executed a .jar and a .dll file, and I have a bad feeling they might have contained a Remote Access Trojan (RAT). As a precaution, I'm planning to reinstall Windows on my PC. However, I'm worried about whether this RAT could have made its way to my Android phone when I connected it via USB-C, especially because USB debugging was turned on at that time. I also saw that Microsoft SharePoint and Phone Link apps were showing up in my PC's Task Manager, which made me even more suspicious. Can anyone advise on whether my phone is at risk and if I need to take any extra steps for its security?

Instead of stressing over whether there's a RAT, just run a full scan with Windows Defender to be sure! It's a good move to reinstall Windows if you're feeling uneasy about it. Just make sure your phone is backed up, and you should be good to go.
(Just as a heads-up, RATs can be sneaky. They might hide, so you're taking the right steps already!)
You don't need to worry too much about your phone. It's pretty rare for a virus to jump between different operating systems like that, especially outside of professional settings. Just keep an eye on things, but you should be fine.
What model of phone do you have and what software version is it? You're probably okay, but it's good to check.
I did run a full system scan with Windows Defender, but I'm still concerned because I've read that RATs can be hard to spot and may stay hidden. That's why I'm opting to reinstall Windows. My biggest worry is whether it could have infected my phone while it was connected, especially with USB debugging on.
