Could My GPU Be Bottlenecking My Performance?

I've been checking my task manager while gaming, and I've noticed that my GPU usage is maxed out at 99% with my RTX 4060. In contrast, my CPU usage is under 10% with my Ryzen 7 5700x. I'm worried that I might have created a bottleneck that's preventing my CPU from being utilized more effectively.

What resolution are you playing at? The RTX 4060 isn't the most powerful GPU, so it's quite common for it to reach its limits first while the CPU has more headroom to spare. If you're gaming at 1080p, that's likely why you're seeing this performance split. You might not necessarily have a bottleneck; it could just be the nature of the GPU you're using.

Yeah, the RTX 4060 can definitely be the limiting factor here, particularly at lower resolutions like 1080p. It's designed for decent performance but can struggle in more demanding scenarios. If you're looking for better balance, consider tweaking your in-game settings or possibly upgrading to a more powerful GPU down the line.
